food [part one]

So I LOVE food. Eating out is one of my favourite things to do.

And as I now live in Manchester, there is a wide variety of places to eat. Here’s a round up of where i’ve been eating over the last 6 months…

First of all, lets start with pies. Pieminister is a lovely little restaurant in the Norther Quarter of Manchester city centre. The picture on the left is of a christmas special stilton pie on “the mother ship” (basically an option where you add mash potato, peas, gravy and fried onion). Absolutely delicious.

Next, if you’re a fan of burgers why not try out Solita’s. This stylish bar and restaurant sells the best  burgers. Pictured on the right is The Manc Burger. A burger which has 2 juicy burgers and all the ingredients you’d find in a McDonald’s Big Mac (but all lovely and fresh!).

Sushi is a great experience if you want something a little different. There is normally offers you can use too. Check out the 10 plates I ate last time i was there!

Now Tea 42 (pronounced Tea for two) is honestly one of my favourite places. Located just outside Manchester Arndale shopping centre, its a refreshing small restaurant which boats an impressive tea menu, with teas from all over the globe! Its serves a wide variety of food too. The image of the left shows the poached eggs on salmon & spinach muffin (from the brunch menu) and Tea 4 2 chocolate cake, which is delicious! If you visit, check out the soup and sandwiches, which are all sublime!

That’s the end of Food. Part One, check out part two very soon…..
