So part two in the FOOD. series, which takes a look at the restaurants and cafes i’ve been to in Manchester starts with Sugar Junction.
This cute little cafe is famous for it’s afternoon tea (popular with lots of the women in my life). But as i like to go against the curb (and i’m not a massive fan of afternoon tea) I had the grilled steak and peppers panini which comes with skin-on fries and home made coleslaw. *winning*
Next on the list is Home Sweet Home. This is a very popular place to eat, and is one of the places i had for a first date! The milkshakes are the best that i’ve found in the Northern Quarter. See the image of the strawberry shake topped with sprinkles and whipped cream (lets not forget the cherry on top too). They also serve lots (and lots) of different cakes, and also i must recommend the cheeseburger toastie, which is literally the ingredients of a cheeseburger but put in a toastie!
Thats all for this time, but they’ll be more to come! Keep watching!
