This January I was lucky enough to be able to take a short mini break to Rome. I had never been to Italy so everything was new to me – but I was more than ready for some post Christmas Pizza, Pasta and Red Wine. Coming along with me was @Fashionmixbag and @QuiteContraryStyle – obviously outfits were on fleek….
ROME STREET STYLE – MLR
Starting off our style tour of Rome, is myself. Florals and blues were key with brown rounded sunglasses to finish off the look. Oh, and don’t forget the perfectly placed “MR” doors, it’s like Rome knew I was coming….
Wandering around Rome was so exciting – everything is very beautiful and interesting there. Let’s remember though, it was January and although it was sunny, it was also quite cold (especially after 4pm). Time to grab the famous AW15 camel coat to walk Gucci, Maxmara & Emporio Armani.
My outfits aside, there are so many great things to see in Rome (not to mention so much food and drink to try!). Below are some of the spots we visited on our brief trip; Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican and Vatican City and Colosseum.
ROME STREET STYLE – FASHIONMIXBAG
Working a classy monochrome look for wandering around Rome, Justine’s high shine patent shoes and silver handbag pop the grayscale look (and look great next to the matching door!).
ROME STREET STYLE – QUITE CONTRARY STYLE
Channelling the Boho vibes – Mary paired suede gloves with a grey textured jacket for the ultimate Roma Vibes – and she was probably much warmer than me in a T-Shirt.
