summer jackets

As we all know, the UK doesn’t have the best reputation for Summer weather – whether this is sun (rarely), snow (sometimes) or rain (most likely). Here’s my top picks of Summer Jackets to buy whatever the weather…..

Unfortunate to live in one of the cooler areas of the UK? Or maybe the forecast is pretty shocking? Well why not invest in a cool Trenchcoat to last you through the summer months. Try a lighter colour (so basically avoid black) for a refreshed look.

My pick: H&M Trenchcoat £79.99

Lets be honest – its going to rain. Now is the time to invest in a lightweight mac, which is not only useful but stylish. Key colours that will last into Autumn are greens and blues.

If you are lucky enough to experience some relative warm weather during the UK Summer – the key jacket style is the Bomber Jacket. You’ll find these everywhere at the moment but stick to the key colours, Khaki Grey White & Black to keep your outfit fresh.

My pick: River Island Green Bomber Jacket £50.00

For those 2 days in year where it might turn out to be above 25C you’ll be needing something with a bit more breeze. Always a fan of an invest piece, why not look for a sleeveless Denim Jacket in a light wash. This piece can be used in later months as a layering piece but keep you cool during the summer months.

My pick: Pull&Bear Sleeveless Denim Jacket In Bleach Wash from ASOS £19.99
